Are there cancellation fees?
Our website care plan is available on a monthly or annual basis with a no-risk, no-questions-asked guarantee. If you ever need to move your site off our hosting or maintenance plan, you have full freedom to do so. Your plan will simply continue through the paid billing period.
Are there any setup fees?
For New Websites We Build: No setup fee if you join within 90 days of launch!
After 90 Days: A $99 setup fee applies to update tools, clean up the database, install necessary software, and back up your site.
For Websites We Didn’t Design: A $250 setup fee is required to update the site, assess existing tools, and ensure it’s properly maintained.
What If I Skip the Plan?
Our website care plan isn’t mandatory but is highly recommended to ensure security, optimization, updates, backups, and support.
If you choose to opt out, you’ll be fully responsible for maintaining your site. This includes handling updates, security, and backups. You’ll also need to review our Liability Clause, which releases us from any responsibility if your site is hacked, breached, or experiences performance issues due to lack of maintenance.
Can I Join Later If I Pass Initially?
Absolutely! If you decide to enroll in our website care plan after initially passing, we’ll gladly onboard your site and ensure it’s properly maintained and protected. Just note that setup fees may apply—see the Setup Fees & Onboarding section for details if joining after 90 days.
What If I Need More Time Than the Monthly Support Allows?
We aim to complete your updates within the allotted support window to save you costs. However, if your updates require more time, we’ll provide an estimate and complete the work at our hourly rate—offering a special discounted rate for our monthly care clients!
What if I pass on the plan and my site gets hacked?
If your site has been compromised and you’d like us to clean it up, we offer a $499 site cleaning/setup fee. Please note that depending on the nature of the hack and how long the site has been affected, resolving SEO rankings and blacklisting issues could take weeks or even months and may require additional work.
Important: We do not fix website hacks unless the site is subsequently added to our care plan.
What Happens If My Site Is Hacked While on the Plan?
In the highly unlikely event that your website is breached or hacked while under our care, we take full responsibility and will address the issue immediately. You won’t have to do anything—we’ll handle it all for you.
Do you take on sites that you didn't build?
We’re happy to maintain websites we didn’t design, as long as they use tools we’re familiar with (or can quickly learn) and the hosting meets our requirements.
Do You Offer Price Breaks for Multiple Sites?
Absolutely! If you choose to have us host and maintain additional sites under your account, you’ll receive a 30% discount (monthly or annual) for every site you add. This discount will remain active for as long as we host and maintain the sites.
Does My Monthly Update Time Roll Over?
Unfortunately, no. The monthly update time is allocated for that month and does not roll over or accumulate for future use.
What's Included in the Monthly Time?
Your monthly time (for Premium or Elite plans) covers updates, additions, or changes to your existing website, such as updating hours, company info, staff/team members, adding new photos, or refreshing services pages.
While we strive to complete updates within your allocated time, any additional time required can be handled through our discounted hourly retainer.
Note: The monthly time is reserved for updates on the current website and cannot be used for full-scale redesigns or new projects. For those, we can offer a discounted hourly rate or a separate fixed project price.
